This works great! I ran AVG and two spyware programs, and it's clean. I installed them and they work great. I have ae 7.0 and ae cs3 so it installed to 7.0 first. I had to tell it to install to CS3. just put it in the plug-in floder, for they who don't know.

Just gotta make sure you are doing it right.

First you install Particular.
Then you open AE.
Then you put Particular on a composition and then go to options, and type EXACTLY whats on the crack?

While running it as administrator on Vista?

My friends and I have never encountered a problem, with XP or Vista.

A small note to Vista users. Please note that Vista will be unable to write the reg key if the application CS3 is not ran as an administrator as well as the trapcode install.

Once you install trapcode, navigate to your programs folder and run CS3 as an administrator from the Adobe After effects folder. Then when you use the included name and key it will unlock the effect.

Shine as well as a couple of other apps keep saying its not serialized even after it gets the serial, and after multiple re-installs. if i'm doing something wrong i need to know.

Shine doesent work for me..

Installed it as an admin after instal was done i opened After Effects Cs4 but in Trapcode there was only Particular no Shine effect.

Anyone know how to fix it.

For all people on Vista or 7 having problems:

Install all plugins using Windows XP SP2 compatibility mode (Right click on the installer, >Properties>Compatibility>Run this program in compatibility mode for:)

And use "Run as administrator"; in fact you should do this whenever you install a program.

If you don't do these steps, windows is likely to not allow you to add the keys into the registry.

Hope this will help people as it helped me =D

OK i got this pretty much just for the serial keys. I downloaded the updated versions from the site for my cs4. First one I tried...3d stroke...First serial I chose must have been bad...gave me an error and cancelled install....second I tried worked fine but like others say when applying the effect it says not serialized. I checked the install file and its in compatibility mode by default...also I ran as admin...reinstalled...same thing. Any help would be appreciated...maybe its a windows 7 thing?

Alsso my main reason for using this effect was to have it draw out a logo design. ive seen tutorials and all on how to do this and it shouldnt be a prob....even with the trial version it should work but have the X or whatever over it....but it doesnt. Even the one from thier site doesnt work for me and i have heard of others with the same prob. If i apply it to a mask that I drew out with the pen tool it shows nothing...just the black background i put it on. I mean i just started using this program a bit ago but Ive had no problems with it till I needed some extra plugins...now seems nothing os working right....
Sorry had to rant...im about to throw my pc out the window...grrr lol

i'm using win 7 ,and i istalled all the plugins with XP(SP2) compatibility and run with administrator,used the serials from the readme files,and when i run AAE when i go to options for example lux or shine i enter the name and the code and then i get this error "RegCreateKey Failed" and when i use effects that i used the serialls in the instalataion it says it invalit and i have to re-install it ..Wth??

They all install in a different folder, but if you give the proper path (//Adobe after effecs cs4/support files/plug ins) they work, except for echospace, the serial is incorrect, but its all right, they work nicely.
